COLORA LA VITA. DONA IL SANGUE

Settimana della donazione del sangue dei volontari in servizio civile nazionale

A partire da lunedì 15 e fino a domenica 21 dicembre si svolgerà su tutto il territorio nazionale la “Settimana della donazione del sangue dei volontari in servizio civile nazionale”.
Occasione dell'iniziativa, promossa dal Dipartimento della Gioventù e del Servizio Civile Nazionale, in collaborazione con il Coordinamento Interassociativo dei Volontari Italiani del Sangue (CIVIS) e con il Centro Nazionale Sangue (CNS), la ricorrenza della pubblicazione della legge sull’obiezione di coscienza, che istituì il servizio civile sostitutivo (legge n. 772/72).
Attraverso il gesto “gratuito della donazione del sangue“ si vuole sensibilizzare e far diventare da donatori occasionali in donatori periodici, sia i 15.000 giovani attualmente in servizio, che gli oltre 300.000 volontari che hanno già svolto il servizio civile nazionale. Il manifesto realizzato per l'occasione, esposto nelle sedi degli Enti aderenti , attraverso lo slogan “Colora la vita, Dona il sangue” vuole ricordare sia l’aspetto della donazione che connota la scelta volontaria del servizio civile nazionale, sia la necessità di sangue del nostro Paese che non dispone di quantità adeguate al fabbisogno.
Ai giovani in servizio civile che aderiscono all'iniziativa è concesso, nel rispetto della normativa vigente, di assentarsi dal servizio per l'intera giornata e per ogni donazione.
Con il gesto della donazione i volontari potranno dimostrare, qualora ve ne fosse ancora bisogno, che la frase “Il servizio civile nazionale cambia la vita, tua e degli altri” non è solo uno slogan ma una precisa scelta d’impegno civico che si rinnova in ogni quotidiana occasione. Per chi volesse aderire all'iniziativa, tutti i dettagli operativi (enti aderenti, punti di raccolta sul territorio, numero di volontari coinvolti, iniziative locali) sono pubblicati sul sito www.serviziocivile.it, sui siti delle quattro associazioni aderenti al CIVIS: www.avis.it; www.cri.it; www.fidas.it; www.fratres.org e sul sito del Centro Nazionale Sangue, www.centronazionalesangue.it

Per diventare volontario della Croce Rossa Italiana occorre lasciare i propri contatti alla sede più vicina. Lo puoi fare telefonando oppure online. Al primo corso disponibile sarai ricontattato per partecipare alla presentazione (gratuita) durante la quale saranno illustrate le modalità e gli argomenti trattati. Al termine del corso riceverai un attestato di partecipazione e, previo superamento di un esame, diventerai Volontario della Croce Rossa Italiana
